How to Ship
At Clingincourt market, you can find quite a few shippers. I recommend you check them all out and ask about their policies. Some will deliver to a port, others to the door.
Go to the office to open an account at no charge. They’ll give you a receipt book and stickers. You can go through Clingincourt and mark everything you buy, which will then go to your shipper. When you buy something, the dealer will get it to the shipper.

Packing
I love to shop for small things that I can carry easily in my suitcase. Bring an extra duffle bag filled with packing material such as bubble wrap, twine, packing tape, and stuffing. If you didn’t bring a bag, you can always pick up a suitcase at the fleamarkets for about 20 euros. There are pretty stringent weight regulations so be sure that if you get books and linens, that you pack them in a couple of different bags to distribute the weight.
Places like Staples are hard to come by in Paris and even if you find one, chances are they won’t have bubble or boxes in stock. The best place to get that kind of thing is BHV. It’s one of Paris’ best sources for everything from electrical and bubble in the basement to great lampshades, bedding, curtains, and accents.
